Terms and Conditions
Transparency and safety are the gears that keep Peak Pedals Academy turning. Read our service agreements below.
Workshop Safety
Our priority is your hands. We enforce strict protocols regarding power tools, hydraulic fluids, and heavy lifting.
Cancellations
Life happens, but parts are ordered. We require 72 hours notice for full refunds on specialized workshops.
Tool Usage
Respect the artisan equipment. Students are responsible for the proper handling of all Park Tool and specialty assets.
Terms of Service
By enrolling in any course at Peak Pedals Academy, you're entering a professional agreement that prioritizes technical excellence and personal accountability. We've spent 15 years refining these standards to ensure every student leaves with both their bike and their confidence intact.
1. Workshop Conduct & Liability
Bicycle repair involves inherent risks, including pressurized systems and sharp edges. Don't touch tools you haven't been briefed on. Seriously. All participants must sign a physical liability waiver before the first elective session begins at our New York facility. Peak Pedals Academy maintains comprehensive insurance, but personal negligence remains the student's responsibility.
2. Enrollment & Specialized Parts
Why do we charge a deposit? Because specialized builds require us to source unique components weeks in advance. If you're joining a Custom Build Lab, your materials fee is non-refundable once the drive-train components have been kit-ordered.
3. Certification Rights
Completion of a workshop doesn't grant license to use the Peak Pedals Academy brand for commercial mechanical services without explicit written consent. We're training mechanics, not franchisees.
Do you have questions about the fine print? Reach out to our program coordinator at info@daleks.info for a detailed breakdown of our mechanical standards and student protections.
